Dark Chocolate Dusted Macadamias

Made in the Northern Rivers of NSW, our Dark Chocolate Dusted Macadamias are made using premium raw Australian grown macadamia nuts that are coated with rich dark chocolate. But it doesn’t stop there – they are then rolled in cocoa powder which gives them their distinct delicious nutty and bitter sweet flavour.
Macadamia nuts contain oil that is one of the most healthiest and they are a rich source of protein and magnesium. They also contain good levels of B6, potassium and iron and are high in beneficial dietary fibre.
Interesting Facts about Macadamias:
For a long time, America produced more macadamias than Australia after the trees were introduced to Hawaii in 1881 as a wind-break for sugarcane and grew very successfully. Then in 1994, Australia became the biggest producer now growing 30% of the world’s macadamia supply.
Among all the nuts, the macadamia shell is the toughest one to crack. In order to crack a macadamia nut open, you would need to apply a pressure of approximately 300 pounds per square inch.
