Cooking with Coconut Flour
Coconut flour tends to soak up a lot of moisture hence why it is used in a smaller ratio with other flours when baking. It’s important to take this into account when adding you’re wet ingredients into any cake or muffin mix, adding a little bit more to make up for this property. Using coconut flour in baking adds a beautiful coco-nutty flavour to the end product.
Serving Suggestions for baking:
Replace up to 25% of wheat flour in standard recipes with coconut flour or use 100% coconut flour where it is called for.
