Our Organic puffed quinoa is a gluten free breakfast alternative that has that unique quinoa flavour. Due to the high protein content of quinoa, it keeps you feeling fuller for longer then compared with many other grain cereals meaning you avoid those mid morning cravings. Quinoa as a grain is also low in fat, high in fibre and rich in iron and B vitamins. Due to quinoa being naturally gluten free, it is also refereed to as a low allergy grain.
Quinoa puffs are not only a great breakfast cereal but are also good for adding to soups, salads or used in baking.
Use puffed quinoa as a base for making your own gluten free summer muesli. We recommend a combination of puffed quinoa, brown rice puffs, toasted rice flakes, toasted almonds, pepitas, sunflower kernels, shredded coconut and dried cranberries. Serve this with your favourite nut or coconut milk and fresh fruit.
Puffed quinoa is tasty added to homemade gluten free muesli bars or healthy nut balls.
