Organic Quinoa and Rice Penne Pasta
Our Organic Quinoa and Rice penne is a delicious gluten free alternative to regular wheat based penne. Use in the same way as your traditional penne pasta to make hot pasta dishes, salads or bakes.
Add the pasta to an abundant amount of boiling water, stirring frequently. Drain well and serve hot. (about 10 minutes cooking time)
For a tasty gluten free pasta salad, use our organic quinoa and rice penne and combine with diced capsicum, cherry tomatoes, carrots, parsley, kalamata olives then dress with olive oil, lemon juice and black pepper. You can also add baby rocket for a little bit more zing.
Delicious with a traditional homemade basil pesto.

Containing the added nutrition of quinoa, this pasta is an excellent source of protein, fibre and complex carbohydrates. It , contains moderate levels of the trace minerals manganese, phosphorus, and magnesium, good levels of folate and the full range of amino acids. It is low in fat and being gluten free, more easily digestible.
